Individual Assessments and Interventions

  • Developmental Assessment and Intervention Plan

NeuroNest offers a comprehensive developmental assessment aimed at understanding your child’s current developmental stage. The assessment process involves observing cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth. Based on the findings, a personalized intervention plan is created to provide support tailored to your child’s specific needs, whether at home, in school, or during therapy sessions.

  • Standardised Assessments

At Neuronest, we offer a comprehensive range of standardized assessments designed to monitor and foster child development, as well as facilitate the early detection of potential challenges. By evaluating motor, cognitive, socio-emotional, and communication skills, these assessments enable us to identify early indicators of developmental issues, ensuring timely intervention and support.

In situations requiring in-depth, specialized evaluations for autism spectrum disorders (e.g., ADOS), suspected ADHD, or intellectual functioning (e.g., Wechsler Intelligence Scales), we collaborate with our certified partner,  AUTISM & ADHD CARE,   to provide these assessments at our premises and refer families for further diagnostic procedures as needed.

  • Integrated Intervention Session (30, 45 and 60 minutes)

Integrated intervention sessions of 30, 45, or 60 minutes, meticulously tailored to each child’s unique abilities, interests, and developmental needs. Our approach begins with a comprehensive assessment, guiding us to create individualized intervention plans that target growth in physical, intellectual, language, emotional, and social domains (the PILES model). Throughout these sessions, we combine evidence-based methods and innovative techniques to ensure a holistic, engaging, and dynamic learning experience.

Depending on the child’s requirements, we may incorporate reeducation of psychomotor skills to enhance motor coordination, balance, perceptual abilities, and cognitive functions. The DIR Greenspan Floortime Approach® helps foster emotional, cognitive, and motor development through play and meaningful interaction, while the Montessori methodology encourages independence, curiosity, and hands-on exploration. For children with communication challenges, we use the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) to promote functional expression of needs, thoughts, and feelings. When addressing behavioral patterns and emotional self-regulation, we employ ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques, emphasizing reinforcement-based methods that cultivate positive behaviors and coping strategies.

Our emphasis on motor and sensory growth includes the Harkla Reflex Integration Programme, which utilizes rocking, balancing, and cross-lateral exercises to strengthen coordination, postural stability, and self-regulation. The Tomatis Method, a specialized form of auditory stimulation, supports listening attention and emotional well-being, while SenzaBand neurofeedback technology offers real-time insights into brain activity, helping children develop focus and self-control. We also integrate Saundory, a multi-sensory program that enhances auditory processing, spatial awareness, and sensory-motor coordination, and employ audiovisual stimulation to synchronize auditory and visual inputs, reinforcing neural connectivity and improving focus.

An array of creative and play-based strategies enriches each session. By incorporating play techniques such as mask-making, sand tray activities, and symbolic painting, children are encouraged to explore emotions in a safe environment, boosting self-confidence and social skills. Therapeutic stories—adapted or created specifically for each child—further support emotional regulation, communication, and motivation through visually and tactilely engaging narratives. Sensory integration strategies and motor development activities, such as puzzles, drawing, and physical games, build coordination and body awareness, while heuristic learning approaches, open-ended problem-solving tasks, and interactive or online tools nurture critical thinking and curiosity.

To strengthen attention, communication, and memory, we employ Forbrain, a bone conduction device that modulates the user’s own voice and delivers clear auditory feedback. This technology aids in refining speech production and fostering better concentration. In our specialized environments, including sensory and symbolic rooms equipped with Brain Gym activities, children benefit from experiences that promote both sensory-motor integration and cognitive advancement.

Collaboration with families underpins our entire process, as we believe the most significant progress emerges when strategies learned during therapy are woven into the child’s daily life. By combining these diverse approaches within individually adapted 30-, 45-, or 60-minute sessions, we strive to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere in which every child can take meaningful steps toward realizing their full potential.

  • Individual Sessions with Potentially Gifted and Gifted Children (30, 45 and 60 minutes)

Our individual sessions for gifted children are designed to nurture their intellectual, emotional, social, and creative development in a safe and supportive environment. Each program is customized to meet the unique needs, interests, and developmental goals of the child. Special emphasis is placed on developing cognitive and intellectual skills through activities such as research projects, problem-solving tasks, and expanding knowledge in areas like mathematics, natural sciences, and other subjects of interest. Creativity is encouraged through artistic workshops, experiments, dramatic expression, and innovative projects.

Emotional intelligence is fostered through activities focused on understanding emotions, managing stress, building resilience, and developing a positive self-image. At the same time, work on social skills helps children improve communication, form friendships, and learn constructive conflict resolution. The sessions include setting individual goals in collaboration with the child and their parents, as well as mentorship in specific areas of interest. Developing the child’s passions and talents is further supported by access to advanced resources and materials tailored to their needs.

Parents receive guidance and practical advice to better understand the needs of gifted children and provide support at home. Regular monitoring and progress evaluations ensure that the program is continuously adapted to the child’s developmental needs, using proven assessment methods. To ensure precise evaluation and optimal support for your child, we collaborate with  AUTISM & ADHD CARE,    a leading organization in the diagnosis and support of children with special needs. This partnership enables us to incorporate best practices and provide a comprehensive understanding of the child’s abilities and needs.

By combining these diverse approaches within individually tailored 30-, 45-, or 60-minute sessions, we strive to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where every child can take meaningful steps toward realizing their full potential. Each session is designed to inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, and promote self-confidence, empowering children to excel in their unique developmental journey.

Our mission is to empower children to realize their full potential, build self-confidence, foster creativity, and prepare for lifelong success. Through professional support and innovative methods, we help children excel in all aspects of development while respecting their individuality and unique abilities.

  • School or Preschool Visit

NeuroNest offers visits to schools or preschools to observe children in their everyday learning environments. This approach helps gather valuable insights into how a child interacts with peers and educators. Working collaboratively with teachers, strategies and recommendations are developed to ensure the best possible support within the school setting.

  • Zoom Consultation with School or Preschool

To offer greater flexibility, NeuroNest provides virtual consultations with schools or preschools. This service ensures continuous communication with teachers and support staff, facilitating the alignment of developmental strategies. Through these virtual meetings, progress is discussed, and interventions are adjusted as needed, ensuring consistent care across all environments.

  • Report Writing and Recommendations for School or Preschool

After assessments or during ongoing therapy, detailed reports are provided, outlining your child’s developmental progress along with practical recommendations for school or preschool staff. These reports help bridge the gap between therapy and education, ensuring a cohesive approach that supports your child’s growth in every environment.
